Cut and fill, building pads, driveways, shed slabs, levelling, compaction. Exactly the surface your slab crew, builder or shed installer expects to walk onto — not a vague rectangle of dirt.
Builders cop bad pads all the time and just live with it. Then the slab cracks. Then it's your problem. Here's the spec we hand over to every job.
House & granny-flat pads — full cut, batter, fill in lifts, compact to spec. Slab crew walks onto a platform that's already at the right level.
Driveways — strip topsoil, cut to subgrade, lay road base, compact, profile for surface — paver, concrete, asphalt or hot-mix.
Shed & carport pads — small jobs we'll knock over in a day or two. We've prepped a lot of pads for the local shed companies — call us before you accept their "site prep extra" line item.
Acreage levelling — full property cuts for arenas, paddocks, storage yards, driveways. Aerial photo above is one of ours in Wilberforce — 1.2 acres, cut, fill and pad in 9 days.

Site prep is a "before the build" job, so photos are usually scarce — clients don't take photos of dirt. Here are the ones we've got.

Free, within 5 working days. We laser-level the site so the quote is dead-honest on cut volumes.
Cut, fill, compaction, sub-base, drains, tip fees — every line itemised. No vague day-rates.
Pad finished to ±15mm. Slab crew or builder walks onto a platform that's actually ready.

While we're cutting the pad, we can handle the wall, the path and the clean-up — all in-house.
±15mm over the whole pad, laser-checked. Most slab crews are happy with ±25mm — we go tighter because it makes their day easier and the slab pour cleaner.
On request. We engage an independent CET (Compaction Engineer / Testing) who certifies the pad in writing. Most domestic pads don't need formal testing — but if your builder or insurer asks, we'll arrange it.
Fine — but get it in writing what they're including. A lot of "we'll prep the site" lines turn into a rough cut and a pile of fill. We'd rather hand you a clean pad and let the builder build, than mop up at the slab pour.
Standard 200m² house pad on flat ground: 2–3 days. Sloped block with cut and fill: 4–7 days. Granny flat / shed pad: 1–2 days. We give you the calendar at quote-time.
Yes. We own a 6t tipper and know the local tip rates. If the cut produces clean fill you want to keep on site (for retained gardens, swale, etc.) we'll re-use it before paying a tip fee.
$20m public liability with NTI, plus workers comp through Allianz. Certificates available on request — we'll send them straight to your builder or council if asked.
Free on-site quote. Same-day call-back. We don't use call centres, we don't do high-pressure sales — we just turn up, walk the block, and tell you what your prep will cost.
