Blackberry, lantana, privet, fallen timber, choked acres. We clear it, mulch it on-site, and leave you with usable yard — not a bill for tip fees twice over. Bushfire APZ work welcome.
Most clearing crews load the slash into a truck and bill you for the tip. We mulch on site — same outcome, way cheaper, and you keep the mulch for garden beds, paths or fire-break ground cover.
One acre of blackberry turns into about 4 tonnes of green waste. That's 8–10 tipper loads at $80–$120 per dump. Mulch it on site and the same acre becomes garden cover you actually want.
Our Takeuchi TB257FR excavator with a forestry mulcher head can clear and mulch in one pass — and because it's a zero-swing machine, it works tight tree lines and trail corridors a bigger rig can't touch. We've cleared 2-acre blackberry blocks in 3 days that would have taken a chip-and-cart crew a fortnight.
For bushfire APZ work we clear to RFS spec — 10m inner protection zone cleared to grass, 30m outer with canopy thinning. We'll talk to your insurer if they're the reason you're doing it.
The mulcher head — clears & chips in one pass
More clearing gallery photos coming. In the meantime, here are jobs in progress and finished.
On the job
That's our machine and our mulcher in the footage — not stock video. Ask Jesse for examples in your suburb on the site walk.
Tell us roughly how much, what's on it (blackberry vs. trees vs. fallen timber), and access.
Free, within 5 working days. We measure, check access, and see what we're really dealing with.

While we're on site, we can handle the wall, the pad, the drainage and the path — all in-house.
Wildly variable — depends on what's on it. Light grass & low scrub: ~$2,500–$4,500/acre. Heavy blackberry & lantana: $4,500–$8,000/acre. Mixed timber: usually quoted by the day, $2,500–$3,500/day on the TB257FR with the mulcher head. We give you a fixed number after the site walk, not a per-acre rate that grows on the day.
Yes. We clear the 10m Inner Protection Zone to grass and the 30m Outer Protection Zone to RFS canopy / fuel-load spec. We'll talk to your insurer or RFS officer directly if needed and provide before/after photos for compliance.
Small and medium trees (under ~6m) we handle in-house. For large trees, hazard trees, or anything needing a licensed arborist, we coordinate with one we trust — you get one quote, one invoice. No second-tradie merry-go-round.
For most overgrown-vegetation clearing on private land in NSW: no. For native canopy trees: usually yes, via the local council. We'll tell you on the site walk what falls each side of the line — and we won't drop a tree that shouldn't come down.
Your call. We can leave it in piles for you to spread, blow it across the block as ground cover, or load it onto your trailer / ute. If you don't want it at all we'll take it — but most clients keep it because mulch retail is ~$50/m³.
$20m public liability with NTI, plus workers comp through Allianz. Certificates available on request. Important for clearing work — some insurers ask for proof before they'll accept the APZ being signed off.
Free on-site quote. Same-day call-back. We don't use call centres, we don't do high-pressure sales — we just turn up, walk the block, and tell you what it'll take to clear.
