Defined scopes get a fixed price. Pool digs, pier-hole sets, site cuts to a nominated RL — locked in before we start. Hourly only where scope is genuinely open-ended.

Yes. The 1.7-tonne mini fits through a standard 900mm gate and the 5.5-tonne handles most residential driveways. We work sloping Kurrajong and Bilpin blocks all the time — benched digs, steep access, and walking machines up on tracks when needed.
Every time. DBYD is lodged before any machine goes in the ground on every trenching or services-related job. We also work alongside your plumber, electrician or pool builder to make sure utilities and footings are in the right place the first time.
Yes — we carry rock-breaker attachments for the 8-tonne and 14-tonne machines. A lot of the Blue Mountains sits on sandstone shelf, especially Yellow Rock, Winmalee, Springwood. We'll quote rock as a variation if it's encountered, but we can keep digging without a second contractor.
Yes. Dirt removal and muck-away is a service we run alongside every excavation job. We have tippers and can cart clean fill, contaminated spoil, or garden waste to the appropriate disposal site. See our dirt removal page →
Regularly. We bore pier holes with an auger attachment — depths and diameters to your engineer's specs. Common on sloping Kurrajong and Bowen Mountain blocks where slab-on-ground isn't viable. We also do bulk pier-hole sets for sheds, decks and patios.
Fully. $20 million public liability, workers comp, machine insurance. Copies of COIs available on request — your builder, pool company or strata will typically want them before we start.
Small jobs (pier holes, a day's trenching, a detail dig) can often be booked inside a week. Bulk earthworks and pool digs usually sit 1–3 weeks out. Emergency water-main breaks or storm work we'll prioritise — call direct.
